Toulouse and Montpellier went into the maximum alert zone on Tuesday due to the deterioration of indicators linked to the Covid-19 epidemic, joining other large French cities such as Paris, Aix-Marseille, Lyon, Grenoble, Saint-Etienne and Lille.
